Mindfulness, movement and creativity studio for children and adults

Lolo's Studio exists to be the exhale

A place where children - and grownups - move, create, imagine, regulate, and belong.

For nine years we've been helping New Orleans families build something increasingly rare - a place where creativity, movement, mindfulness, and genuine community help children grow calm confidence while parents find the village they've been looking for.

Every class, camp, and celebration is thoughtfully designed to help children build the inner skills they'll carry for life. And you get to exhale, knowing your child is surrounded by people helping teach the things that matter most.

Because we all deserve a village.

Who is Lolo’s Studio for?

For kids.
For adults.
For families.

For the whole community.

For Kids

We help children build calm confidence from the inside out.

This isn't about becoming the best dancer.
Or the strongest athlete.
Or earning another ribbon to hang on the wall.

It's about learning how to breathe through big feelings.
Trust themselves.
Make friends.
Create with abandon.
Move their bodies with joy.
Laugh until their cheeks hurt.

They arrive carrying the noise of a busy world.

They leave remembering who they are.

These are the kinds of life skills that don't end when class is over—they become part of who your child grows up to be.

Whether they're flying in aerial yoga, making art with messy hands, celebrating a birthday, or spending the week at camp, every experience is built around one belief:

Children thrive when they feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.

Designed for children in Kindergarten through age 12, with toddler programming coming this fall.

For Adults

The village includes you, too.

Healthy children don't grow up alone. They grow up surrounded by adults who are connected—to themselves, to each other, and to their community.

That's why Lolo's isn't only for kids.

It's for anyone who wants to live a little more creatively.
Move a little more freely.
Slow down.
Meet good people.
Laugh.
Make something beautiful.
Remember what matters.

Whether you're raising children, cheering them on from the sidelines, or simply looking for your own place to belong.

If this all resonates… you've found it.

Morning yoga.
Creative workshops.
Sound baths.
Ladies' nights.
Community gatherings.

Because caring for yourself isn't separate from caring for your family – or your  community.
It's part of it.

Is Lolo's the right fit for your kid?

Lolo's might be your place if...

  • You believe childhood should include more wonder, creativity, movement, and plenty of unhurried play.

  • You want your child to feel part of a warm community where they don't have to perform, compete, or prove anything.

  • You want your child to build confidence from the inside out - not because someone told them they were good at something, but because they learned to trust themselves.

  • You'd love for them to develop the tools to calm their body, understand their feelings, and navigate life's ups and downs with resilience.

  • You believe friendships, kind mentors, and a strong community are key factors for health and happiness.

  • You know creativity matters... and you're grateful someone else is willing to clean up the glitter. ;)

  • You believe rest, joy, imagination, and play aren't rewards for working hard - they're essential parts of growing up.

Lolo's might not be the right fit if…

  • Your child currently needs significant one-on-one behavioral or sensory support in a group setting. (Our smaller weekend classes can sometimes be a wonderful place to begin.)

  • Your child requires hours and hours each day to run absolutely wild in wide-open outdoor spaces - while we love movement, our magic happens in a cozy studio designed for creativity, mindfulness, connection, and imaginative play.

  • You're looking for a highly structured program with specific performance benchmarks.

  • You're hoping every art project comes home looking Pinterest-perfect.
